Who We Contacted
We’ve emailed seven of the nine contractors you recommended. We didn’t reach out to Lee’s or Redline, as they focus exclusively on interior renovations, and your project needs a broader scope.
Responses So Far
DH Land Pros:
We did hear back from them, but honestly, their response left us a bit underwhelmed. It was brief and didn’t seem to fully address our message. We want to ensure every partner on your project is as invested as we are, so we suggest continuing to look for the right fit.Anderbar Construction:
Great news here! Ian, the owner, lives right down the street from you and is genuinely excited about the project. He’s knowledgeable, motivated, and already thinking ahead- he mentioned we’ll need geotech and fish & wildlife review, which we expected but it was great to hear his thoughtfulness. His local connection and enthusiasm are promising.Winter Construction:
They responded kindly, but with only one person currently on their team, they felt this project would be too large for them to take on at this time.
Next Steps
We have follow-up emails scheduled for Monday with Rooster, Disney, Orser, and Above & Beyond. We haven’t heard back from them yet, but we’re hopeful we’ll have more options to share with you soon. If we haven’t heard by Wednesday, we’ll start making calls. We prefer to start with email so we can provide all the necessary information and test their responsiveness!
