Next Steps: Schematic Design and Phase Approval

Hi Erin,

We're thrilled to update you on the progress of your project. As we conclude the predesign phase, which involves documentation and identifying goals and challenges, we're excited to move on to the next step. But, before we dive in, we have a bit of homework for you!

Kitchen and Bathroom Questionnaires:

Kindly take 3-5 minutes to complete our kitchen questionnaire and another 3-5 minutes for the bathroom questionnaire. Your insights are crucial in shaping the direction of our design, and we value your input in this collaborative process.

Program Document and Existing Documentation:

In your “Docs” folder on the homepage of this portal, you'll find a link to the program document PDF. This is a living document that serves as our project bible, capturing every detail and nuance. It is also your “Scope of Work” document.

We've also included in the shared file, a copy of your existing documentation, providing a clear view of the dimensions (and constraints) we're working with. Take a moment to review these materials, and if everything aligns with your expectations, please proceed to the next step.

Phase Approval Form:

To move forward, we request that you complete our "phase approval" form. This marks the completion of the predesign phase. Following your approval, we'll send a request for the design fee as outlined in our Agreement. The approval link is shared in your Docs as well as displayed as a button on your Portal home page.

Next Phase: Schematic Design - Let the Fun Begin!

Once we receive your approval, we'll enthusiastically jump into the Schematic Design phase. To give you a quick refresher, we are providing an outline of what to expect in this phase (also included in your shared file). It's where the creative magic begins, shaping the visual concept of your dream spaces.

Rachel Waldron

Waldron Designs was founded by Rachel Waldron (that’s me!). in 2013.

I am so happy designing that it is not unusual to catch me in a giggle as I rev up to do my work. I think of my designs the way that I think of my children- each is unique and has their own personality. It is my job to nurture them and help them grow, not define them.

I got my bachelor's degree in interior design from Washington State University - a CIDA-accredited school - in 2005, immediately moved into a leadership position and have continued designing with passion.

I received my MBA in Marketing in 2012 and launched Waldron Designs in 2013. When I am not designing, you will find me enjoying my precious time with my husband and two spectacular children.
