DESIGN DEVELOPMENT SUBMISSION

Hi Erin and Brandon,

I know we’re meeting tomorrow, and I will likely be able to submit a final set of everything within a few days of that meeting. But, for the sake of process, I wanted to share the Design Development submission. This submission is now in your shared folder under “Program Document”. If you open that document, you will see the original program that Ryan shared with you, but there have been updates to the document to illustrate conversations we’ve had, changes made to the initial notes, and a few areas that we still want to confirm. All changes are highlighted in blue and dated to make them as easy to find as possible!

I want to call out a few of the question items here, and direct you to the appendix of the document where you can see links to your drawings and product selections:

  • Objectives within each space, p. 13: 9.16.25 I noted that designer is to confirm the desire to replace the dishwasher - we did this yesterday!

  • Objectives within each space, p. 15: 9.16.25 Please confirm that you are looking for a standard beverage refrigerator, not a wine refrigerator specifically.

  • Don’t worry about the Construction Document approval page - this will be for the final submission.

  • Appendix B: Design Research: This is where you will see links to the drawings and the product specifications.

Please review these options so we can discuss any questions tomorrow!

Rachel Waldron

Waldron Designs was founded by Rachel Waldron (that’s me!). in 2013.

I am so happy designing that it is not unusual to catch me in a giggle as I rev up to do my work. I think of my designs the way that I think of my children- each is unique and has their own personality. It is my job to nurture them and help them grow, not define them.

I got my bachelor's degree in interior design from Washington State University - a CIDA-accredited school - in 2005, immediately moved into a leadership position and have continued designing with passion.

I received my MBA in Marketing in 2012 and launched Waldron Designs in 2013. When I am not designing, you will find me enjoying my precious time with my husband and two spectacular children.
