Design Development Issuance

Hi Crossroads Team,

We’re thrilled to share the progress we’ve made on your project as we complete the Design Development phase! This is an exciting milestone where your vision is coming to life with greater detail and refinement.

Next Steps

  • Review the Design Package: You can access the detailed design package via this link. This package includes updated floor plans, elevations, material selections, and other key design elements. The files are also located in your shared folder, and note that you are able to comment directly on the documents using the “comments” link on the right side of the page.

  • Budget Alignment: This is a vital time to get an estimate from your general contractor. Please note that it’s not unusual to encounter higher pricing estimates at this stage. If pricing exceeds expectations, we’ll collaborate on value engineering strategies to align costs with your budget while maintaining the integrity of the design.

  • Provide Feedback and Approval: Once you’ve reviewed the design package, let us know if you have any questions or require clarification. Your feedback is instrumental in ensuring every detail aligns with your vision.

Moving Forward

To finalize this phase and move into the construction document phase, we’ll need your approval via the link on your portal home page. Once approved, we’ll proceed with confidence toward construction documentation. In the meantime, we are continuing work on product selection and permit documents.

Thank you for your continued partnership and trust in this process. As always, feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns—we’re here to help!

Rachel Waldron

Waldron Designs was founded by Rachel Waldron (that’s me!). in 2013.

I am so happy designing that it is not unusual to catch me in a giggle as I rev up to do my work. I think of my designs the way that I think of my children- each is unique and has their own personality. It is my job to nurture them and help them grow, not define them.

I got my bachelor's degree in interior design from Washington State University - a CIDA-accredited school - in 2005, immediately moved into a leadership position and have continued designing with passion.

I received my MBA in Marketing in 2012 and launched Waldron Designs in 2013. When I am not designing, you will find me enjoying my precious time with my husband and two spectacular children.
