The Poetry of Light
Light is the universal language of welcome. In homes across the world, light does more than chase away shadows. It opens doors, invites conversation, and creates spaces where everyone feels seen. Imagine the soft, flickering glow of a Moroccan lantern casting intricate patterns on a courtyard wall, or the golden sun filtering through Japanese shoji screens, painting the room in gentle stripes. Picture the bright, open windows of a Scandinavian living room, where even the deepest winter day is met with warmth and cheer. Every culture has its own way of celebrating light, but the message is always the same: here, you belong.
A Design Melting Pot
One of my favorite things about living in the USA is the tapestry of cultures woven into our daily lives. I can stroll downtown for authentic Mexican food, wander into a boutique Indian shop, and finish with a boba tea—each stop a little journey in itself. Our cities thrive with vibrant neighborhoods like Chinatown and celebrate Latin culture through community events and art. Some of my most cherished treasures are the small, heartfelt pieces I’ve picked up at local gatherings—like the adorable drawing I scored from a young artist at a Latin cultural festival.
