A New Home for Waldron Designs

We’re packing up our in-town studio and getting ready for a move! And this time, we think we may have found our last studio.

Short of designing and building a space from the ground up, we found what we were looking for right in front of us: a place of our own, room to make it ours, and a view across Quartermaster Harbor that will be pretty hard to beat.

Beginning in early September, Waldron Designs will officially move out of town and into our new waterfront studio. We’ll miss the convenience of clients being able to drop by while they’re in town, but the opportunity to own our space and create a studio that works for us long-term ultimately won out.

A Studio That Will Grow With Us

Like most moves, this one comes with boxes, furniture shuffling, plenty of decisions, and a growing list of projects we’d like to tackle once we’re in. As designers, moving into a new space also means we can’t help looking at everything and thinking about what it could be. So, the studio will be a bit of a work in progress for a while.

If you happen to drive by or find yourself in the neighborhood, there’s a decent chance you’ll catch us outside making improvements, working on the property, or figuring out what project we’ve decided absolutely needs to happen next. Inside, we’ll have dedicated workspace for our team along with space to meet with clients when it makes sense. But this move is also allowing us to rethink how and where we meet.

Meetings, Wherever Makes Sense

While our new studio will have space for meetings, we’ll be changing things up a bit. Depending on the project and what’s most convenient, we may meet at your home or project site, connect virtually, grab a table at a local café, or welcome you to the studio.

The goal is simple: meet where it makes the most sense for you and your project. Convenience is the key word.

The moving process is already underway, and we expect things to be a little hectic as we get everything from one studio to the other. We’re still here, still working, and still available. If our response time is a little slower than usual during the move, we appreciate your patience while we get settled.

We’re excited about what this space will become and, yes, very excited about looking out over Quartermaster Harbor while we work! We’ll share more of the new studio, the improvements we’re making, and what’s next once we’re officially moved in. For now, we have some boxes to pack.
