WORKING TOGETHER

COLLABORATION. RESPECT. TRUST

  • Communication is a two-way street.

We will typically provide responses to phone calls or emails within three days.

We value our personal time and yours. Let’s keep it to business hours (ours are 9:30am - 4pm) unless we need to make an exception.

We need to reliably track our communications. We use email, phone calls, text (billed in 15 minute increments) and (of course) meeting in person for communication.

  • Our preferred meeting schedule is bi-weekly. This ensures that the project remain collaborative!

We know you’re busy, so we’ll be looking ahead to be sure everything moves ahead smoothly.

If you need to pause, we request an ETA for restart.

  • We consider your vacations as part of our project scheduling so please let us know if you’re planning to be away.

We take time off to spend with our children during school breaks. We close for two weeks in December and one week in February every year and are typically “off the grid.”

  • Knowing your budget helps us stay within it. Without guardrails, we have no way to work with you to right size our work or even to talk about feasibility.

We can help if you need someone to provide feedback regarding what can be achieved for a given amount.

  • It is very important that all decision-makers are part of the process and fully engaged in it. They need to know the “why” behind just about every choice.

  • Incorporating sustainable design strategies is not a perk. It is necessary.

Designing to the code is a minimum - not a hurdle to sidestep.
