Contractor Search Update

I wanted to provide a place to summarize updates - feel free to comment with any of your own notes below as well.

Kirk @ Rooster Remodels: We felt good about him. He’s quiet, but appears to be knowledgeable. You acknowledged that you like his flat fee structure.

George @ Above & Beyond: It sounds like he would be a world of change orders, and has potential for getting smacked, lol.

Ian @ Anderbar will meet with you both this evening (I hope!). I have really enjoyed conversations with him to this point, and feel confident that the is very capable based on images he’s shared of his home under construction and the services and history he has.

Disney Construction: They continue to be unresponsive. I called throughout the day on Monday, and again Tuesday (today), each time getting a voice mail box that was full and could not take our message.

DH Land Pros: I did call and leave a message for Dan to give me a call back. I spoke with a woman who answered, and I said that I was just calling to clear the air, because it sounds like there was a misunderstanding. She seemed to know what I’m talking about, and after reviewing the emails that were 100% professional without any tone, I almost wonder if they mixed us up with someone else!

Waldron Designs was founded by Rachel Waldron (that’s me!). in 2013.

I am so happy designing that it is not unusual to catch me in a giggle as I rev up to do my work. I think of my designs the way that I think of my children- each is unique and has their own personality. It is my job to nurture them and help them grow, not define them.

I got my bachelor's degree in interior design from Washington State University - a CIDA-accredited school - in 2005, immediately moved into a leadership position and have continued designing with passion.

I received my MBA in Marketing in 2012 and launched Waldron Designs in 2013. When I am not designing, you will find me enjoying my precious time with my husband and two spectacular children.
