The four scoring pillars

  • HEALTH SCORE (Wellness & Toxicity): Focuses on Indoor Air Quality and chemical transparency. Evaluation criteria include verified Declare Labels (Red List Free), Health Product Declarations (HPDs), and certifications like Greenguard Gold or Cradle to Cradle (C2C).

  • MATERIAL SCORE (Integrity & Sourcing): Focuses on raw material harvesting, certifications, and durability. We look for FSC-Certified wood, GOTS-Certified organic textiles, and high percentages of verified post-consumer recycled content.

  • LOCATION SCORE (Regionality & Logistics): Focuses on supporting local economies and reducing the carbon footprint. We prioritize products from the PNW Local region (WA, OR, ID, BC), followed by West Coast Regional and Domestic Baseline.

  • PROCESS SCORE (Ethics & Circularity): Focuses on operational transparency, social impact, and waste reduction. Key indicators include B Corporation status, GoodWeave certification, Carbon Neutrality, and closed-loop or made-to-order manufacturing models.
