In beginning to write this, we pondered, “how did we find Kate?” and we surprisingly can’t remember because she is so incredibly memorable. It may have been through VIVA, the Vashon Center for the Arts, or maybe it was simply Instagram.

Regardless, we love the emotion in her art, as though this is exactly what she is painting… emotion.
