Need to Reschedule DD-I Presentation - Health Update

Hi Erin,

I hope you're having a wonderful weekend! I'm reaching out because I've come down with sinusitis and am quite under the weather - I'm currently on day 5, and it looks like this might persist for up to 10 days.

Given my current condition, I'd like to reschedule our DD-I presentation originally planned for tomorrow (September 2nd, 2:00-3:30 PM). This presentation is too important, and I want to give you and the design direction the full attention they deserve when I'm feeling 100%.

Even though we can't meet in person, I want to ensure we keep the project moving forward:

  • I can ask Sean to compile all the counter samples, paint samples, and tear sheets I’ve prepared. You can coordinate with him to pick these up at our office. I imagine he could have it all assembled by Wednesday, considering the holiday today.

  • I'll send over all the digital files we were planning to present, including the updated project drawings, so you can review them remotely.

Would sometime next week work for you? I'm hoping to be back on my feet by mid-week. I'll keep you posted on my recovery and we can find a time that works well for both of us.

In the meantime, I spoke with Sam and Max and they said that their schedule is full of non-construction work, so I wanted to share some other options for folks to do the work. Let me know if you’d like me to share project documentation with any/all of them and get them going with estimates.

  • David Rupar: David lives in Tacoma, but happily works on the island and will be out on Friday, which we could certainly take advantage of and see if he’d like to also make a visit to your home while he’s here.

  • Pascal Py: Pascal is an islander and has done work for our clients in the past, with the ability to manage small to medium project sizes (yours would be a perfect size for him)

  • Suny Remodel: Jalal is currently waiting for a home addition project of ours to get started on, so he may have availability to fit this in while he waits for those permits to come through!

Thank you for understanding, and I apologize for the short notice.

We'll be in touch soon to reschedule,

Rachel

Waldron Designs was founded by Rachel Waldron (that’s me!). in 2013.

I am so happy designing that it is not unusual to catch me in a giggle as I rev up to do my work. I think of my designs the way that I think of my children- each is unique and has their own personality. It is my job to nurture them and help them grow, not define them.

I got my bachelor's degree in interior design from Washington State University - a CIDA-accredited school - in 2005, immediately moved into a leadership position and have continued designing with passion.

I received my MBA in Marketing in 2012 and launched Waldron Designs in 2013. When I am not designing, you will find me enjoying my precious time with my husband and two spectacular children.
