Design isn’t a “one-size-fits-all” service. Sure, we could draft a kitchen in a handful of hours, but that would be our kitchen, not yours. But here’s the honest truth: we can’t predict exactly how your journey will unfold until we start walking it together. That’s why fixed estimates just don’t fit the way we work.
We Sell Time and Experience, Not Just Plans
When you ask, “How much will the plans cost?” we gently remind you: the plans themselves are just paper. What you’re investing in is our time, care, and expertise- the hours spent understanding your vision, exploring sustainable solutions, and crafting a design that feels like you. Sometimes we know the destination, but the most beautiful moments come from the scenic detours and creative pit stops along the way.
We Still Give You a Roadmap
We know transparency matters. That’s why we always provide context and ranges: for example, an aesthetic kitchen renovation often starts at $100k, with design fees typically 15-20% of the project cost. For a $1M new build, we recommend setting aside about 10% for design services. If your project involves lots of exploration or changes, it might be more- or less! The key is, we’re open about what to expect, and we’ll keep you informed as we go.
