Commercial Work
Most of the commercial work done by our staff have been in collaboration with Architectural firms. The firm primarily focused on residential with small commercial jobs here and there. Sean Waldron joined us in the past year, coming with extensive architectural experience at Miller Hull and NBBJ architects with healthcare projects, public spaces, and embassy designs. Sean's most well-known recently completed project is the Pike Place Market expansion, specifically the outdoor covered area.
Sherwood Elementary and Middle School
Rachel Waldron was lead interior designer on this project with a team of approximately 6 architects, to include the project manager. Finishes, Floor finish plan, and the Stair railing design are they key contributions Rachel had toward the project.
Seattle Medical Facility
Design was complete when this project brought Rachel on for Construction Administration- A portion of the design process that ensures final details and selections meet the quality and intent of the design firm.
Portland Golf Club
Rachel worked as a design assistant on this project, and her skills can be seen most in the bathroom space, though she had input on all selections, as well as drawing experience in drafting the architectural set.
Piroshki on 3rd
This restaurant began as a conceptual project by a Seattle Architect, it was handed over to Rachel Waldron for design development and completion.
Rex Putnam High School
While these progress shots may not look like much, this school design was a pivotal moment in Rachel's design career. This was the project where she spoke up and took the reigns to make a change for the kids. The initial intent was for the architects to provide a new commons and lunch space. The team put all the funding toward a glamorous space, but left the remainder of the school in disarray. Rachel researched materials and budgets to prove that much more could be done to the overall space if funds were spread more evenly, allowing the kids a space they could be proud of throughout!
