SCHEMATIC DESIGN SUBMITTAL!
We’re so happy that you liked our direction for the barn! I’ve updated the presentation, which may be found in the “Docs” file on your portal homepage. In that folder you will find all of the following.
Next Steps:
Review the Presentation: You'll find the presentation document in the “Docs” file. This presentation details the proposed design for your project, including preliminary floor plans and atmospheric direction. It does not include the windows we discussed in the exterior drawings, but those may be seen in the floor plan now. We will incorporate this into the exterior elevations during the Design Development phase.
Review the Updated Program: We've also included an updated program in the “Docs” file that incorporates any notes or revisions discussed since our last meeting. Highlighted and dated changes are included for your easy reference.
Provide Feedback and Approval: Once you've had a chance to review the presentation and updated program, please let us know if you have any questions or require any further clarification. There is a link in the Docs file called “SD Approval”.
Moving Forward: To finalize the schematic design phase and move into the design development phase, please submit your approval electronically through the link below.
Timeline: We kindly request your feedback and approval by May 9th (next Friday). This will allow us to seamlessly transition into the design development phase as planned.
In the meantime, we have begun the research on incinerating toilets vs. composting toilets and the best heating options. You will see what we’ve uncovered so far in your program document. It looks so far as though incinerating with propane work very well together and the newer incinerating toilets have no smell at all. I will make a post dedicated purely to this information, however :)
Thank you!
We appreciate your continued collaboration on this project. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
As promised, here is a photo of the client’s home that had an OSB interior ceiling.
I’m not sure why the framing is glowing, but our plan is NOT to paint it neon ;)
